visa: Golden Visa: Getting it might be more complicated than others

EB5 Visa is a Golden visa that lets you travel in and out of the United States whenever required, get a Green Card, and access health facilities. But, getting it is a bit complicated as you need to follow many things before applying. Let’s see what they are:

Requirements for EB5 Visa

  • You need to invest 9000000 dollars in a TEA or outside TEA, 1.8 million dollars.
  • Making a minimum of 10 new jobs full-time in a span of 2 years is a must. Besides that,
  • Proof of legal documents that all the money is legal
  • USCIS must approve your investment
  • The company should have been established after 1990 and for commercial purposes only
  • Selecting the investment options through regional centers and hiring legal representatives for further guidance

Applying for EB5 Visa

So, now you are done with the investment process. Here comes the application process:

  • Use Form I-526 to apply to USCIS and check their official website for any updates regarding the form submission address.
  • After reviewing, they will send the form to the NVC or National Visa Center.
  • NVC will call you for the required documents and fees, and as per their date and time, you have to submit the same
  • Now, at the US Embassy, appear for the Immigration Visa Interview. You can get all the details like place, date, and required documents for the interview from the NVC.
  • Is everything correct? You can get an Immigrant Investor Visa or a 2-year Green card.

Charge for the EB5 Visa

Any applicant must pay $3675 to apply for an EB-5 visa. It is in addition to the $900,000 investments. Also, you need to pay for the following

  • Processing fee for Form DS-260
  • All the charges for medical examinations
  • Legal fees, if required
  • Charges for obtaining the required documents

Once you get the EB5 Visa, your spouse (if you are married at that time) can come with you to the US based on permanent or conditional residency. Kids (birth, step, and adopted) under 21 can also come with you.
